Olivia Rodrigo is getting into the holiday spirit with her first Christmas single, “Take Me Home (4 Christmas),” released November 5, 2026, alongside a music video featuring two familiar television faces.

The new song centers on holiday romance and the excitement of taking a relationship to the next level. Rodrigo explores the anticipation and nervousness of meeting a partner’s family during Christmas, with a playful approach to seasonal traditions.

The accompanying video stars Cynthia Nixon, best known for Sex and the City, and Ben Marshall of Saturday Night Live. Marshall plays Rodrigo’s boyfriend, while Nixon takes on the role of his mother. Their appearances bring a family-centered storyline to the festive production.

Rodrigo co-wrote the track with longtime collaborator Dan Nigro and songwriter Amy Allen. Nigro also handled production, continuing his creative partnership with the singer.

The release follows Rodrigo’s recent collaboration with Chappell Roan on a remix of “Expectations.”

With her first original Christmas release, Rodrigo adds a seasonal track to her catalog while maintaining the relationship-focused storytelling that has become a recognizable part of her music.
