In a new YouTube interview with Linda Advocate, Disturbed’s singer David Draiman unleashed on Roger Waters, the former Pink Floyd member and vocal anti-Israel activist. “He’s a piece of work, that deluded old freak. Antisemitic to his rotten core,” said Draiman, who recently received an award for his Outstanding Contribution to Fight Against Antisemitism. “He’s been that way for the duration of his life and the duration of his career. It’s nothing new. He’s a coward. He’s a hypocrite. He is a supporter of dictators and dictatorial regimes all over the world. He’s an apologist for Putin and apologist for anybody that’s on the wrong side of history.”

Last year, the U.S. State Department claimed Waters has “a long track record of using antisemitic tropes,” referencing his 2023 concert in Germany which, “contained imagery that is deeply offensive to Jewish people and minimized the Holocaust.” (Blabbermouth)
