During the Pretty Reckless’ opening set for AC/DC last week in Sevilla, Spain, the band’s singer Taylor Momsen was bitten by a bat. Momsen was initially unaware that a bat was clinging to her black dress. Fans alerted her to the creature, which eventually flew away after biting the singer on her leg. Momsen will now have to undergo painful rabies shots while the tour continues.
Posting a video of the incident on her Instagram, Momsen tried to make light of the situation. “ROCK AND ROLL MOMENT…in Sevilla Wednesday during “Witches Burn” of all songs… a BAT 🦇 🦇 flew onto me and clung to my leg…he was cute, but yes he bit me…so rabies shots for the next two weeks 😖😖😖 thanks to all the staff at the hospital who dubbed me #batgirl after seeing it on the local news.” (Variety)
